By accessing or using the SentePay mobile application, website, or backend system, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Services Provided

  • Airtime and data purchases.
  • Utility bill payments.
  • Gift card purchases.
  • Transaction history and receipts.

3. User Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
  • You must provide accurate and verifiable personal information.

4. Account Registration

  • You agree to provide accurate information at registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately.

5. Payments and Fees

  • All payments are processed via telecoms, banks, and other integrated providers.
  • Transaction fees, if applicable, will be displayed before confirmation.
  • Once a payment is confirmed, it cannot be reversed except in cases of error or failed delivery.

6. Refunds and Disputes

  • Refunds are only issued if a transaction fails but funds were deducted.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 working days of the transaction.
  • We may require additional documentation for processing disputes.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use SentePay for:

  • Fraudulent or illegal transactions.
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or tampering with the system.

8. Security

  • SentePay employs industry-standard security protocols.
  • Users must secure their devices and credentials.
  • We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised devices or negligent account use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SentePay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party providers.
  • Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the value of the disputed transaction.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, and trademarks are the property of SentePay.
  • You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute content without written consent.

11. Compliance

You agree to comply with:

  • The Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019).
  • Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing regulations.
  • Other applicable financial and consumer protection laws.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Breach these Terms.
  • Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
  • Provide false or misleading information.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted, and continued use of SentePay constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya (and any other jurisdiction where SentePay operates).
